A PLANE has been evacuated after a “bomb threat” on board a Bulgaria Air aircraft – and two men have been arrested.
A total of 180 passengers were forced to leave the flight which was just about to leave for Varna in Bulgaria.
It started as a dispute between passengers according to German reports.
One of them accused the other of planning an attack on the plane, Zoff reported.
The crew took this threat seriously and triggered an alarm.
All scheduled take-offs and landings at the airport were immediately stopped.
The baggage in the plane was unloaded and a sniffer dog examined them for possible explosives.
A spokesman for the Federal Police confirmed an investigation was ongoing.
Meanwhile, take-offs and landings have now resumed at the airport.
Two men have been arrested over the incident.
