The Casa Dean Collection
Developed in collaboration between Grammy Award-winning music producer Kasseem ‘Swizz Beatz’ Dean and CB2, the Casa Dean Collection reflects Dean’s lifelong passion for art and design. It was co-created with Evan Jerry, founder of Studio Anansi and a member of CB2’s Designer Collective. This partnership shows how personal identity is now shaping functional home furnishings.
The collection is inspired by the concept of the ‘Creative Home’—a space where living, making, and gathering are connected. Dean believes such a home is essential for anyone who expresses themselves through creativity, whether through music, visual art, or craftsmanship.

Design Philosophy and Influences
Evan Jerry worked closely with Swizz Beatz to capture the essence of Dean’s lifestyle—how he moves through his home, how he collects objects, and how he values emotional design. The process focused on authenticity, not style replication.
Design references include Brazilian modernism, known for bold forms and organic shapes, and the visual language of music and collecting. These influences are deeply embedded in the pieces’ structure and materials.
The Brainstorm Chair draws from Brazilian modernism with its boxy wood frame and soft leather. The Lam-Louie DJ Console references music tools, blending function with artistic detail.
The collection features expressive silhouettes. The Kindred Olive Green Velvet Curved Sectional mimics natural curves and musical waveforms, reflecting the flow of creativity.
