April 16 (UPI) — Lucasfilm released the final trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu on Thursday at the CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas, Nev.

The movie opens May 22 in theaters for Memorial Day weekend.

After three seasons of The Mandalorian on Disney+, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his child ward Grogu, aka “Baby Yoda,” get their own movie. Working with Colonel Ward (Sigourney Weaver), they go on a mission to defend the galaxy for which the Rebellion fought.

They run afoul of more Hutts (one voiced by Jeremy Allen White) and dodge imperial AT-AT walkers. Some foes remove Din’s helmet, a no no for Mandalorians though it did happen in some episodes.

Jon Favreau directs The Mandalorian and Grogu. He co-wrote with new Lucasfilm CCO Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor.

Favreau and Filoni also produced with former CCO Kathleen Kennedy and Ian Bryce. The previous trailer was released in September.
