What is it?
by Sammy Barker

Sony’s filed a trademark for a new PS5 game named Break In, which will presumably be revealed during next month’s State of Play.
The document, submitted in both the US and Europe, doesn’t include any additional information about the project – just that it pertains to “video game software”.

Honestly, the name is vague enough that this could potentially be anything. Some are hypothesising it may be a new name for Fairgames, given the Haven title’s “heist” theme. That’s possible.
But it could feasibly be anything, from Firesprite’s rumoured horror game through to an externally developed second-party title the publisher’s picked up.
The one thing I’d stress here is that the timing of the trademark application strongly suggests this will be revealed at the State of Play on 2nd June.
I’ll do some more digging to see if I can find any additional information, and I’ll keep my ear to the ground to see if any other rumours emerge.
But for now, all we have to go on is that Sony will likely announce a new game named Break In during its next State of Play. Intriguing!
