Sainsbury’s is offering discounts on popular toys during its October 2026 sale. Brands like LEGO, Barbie, PAW Patrol, and Disney are included.
Key Deals in the Sale
Skint Dad reviewed 20 toys on Sainsbury’s official Toy Sale page. Prices were checked on Wednesday, 21 October 2026.
The selection includes action figures, building sets, and small vehicle sets.
- The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks assortment costs £3.33.
- The LEGO City Hot Rod Race Car is priced at £5.94.
All prices are based on Sainsbury’s advertised comparison prices. Savings are calculated against these. Prices and availability may change.
Which Toys Have the Biggest Savings?
The LEGO Botanicals Peace Lily offers the biggest saving in pounds: £18.70 off its £55 price. This is not the deepest percentage cut.
These toys are ideal for small budgets or minimal Christmas gifts.
Availability and Store Presence
Sainsbury’s shows the toy sale online and says more toys are available in stores.
Product availability varies by branch. Skint Dad has not confirmed which stores carry every discounted item.
Shoppers should check in advance if they plan to visit a specific store for a toy.
Delivery and Collection Costs
Delivery and collection charges matter when buying online.
Home delivery requires a minimum order of £25 through Sainsbury’s grocery service.
For orders under £50, next-day delivery costs £7.50. This could make small purchases less worthwhile.
Click & Collect has no minimum spend. Charges are £4 for orders under £25 and 50p for larger orders.
Skint Dad advises checking the total at checkout. An £8.50 toy would need other items to meet the £25 minimum, or else collection fees reduce savings.
When Does the Sale End?
Sainsbury’s has not set a fixed end date for the sale.
Each offer shows its own end date when the offer icon is selected. Some may expire before the sale ends.
Stock may also run out early. Early action helps secure desired items.
Skint Dad’s Advice
Only one product in the list is half price. Most are reduced by about one-third.
Discounts look good, but final price matters most.
Compare any toy on your Christmas list with other retailers first.
Use a four-gift rule to avoid overspending and stay within budget.
